A Mulberry Weddings on-the-day coordinator, is on hand to help co-ordinate your special day and to ensure that you can relax and enjoy every moment. We can work with you if you're having your wedding in a country manor house, a woodland idle or a marquee in the garden at home. Any venue, any location, any wedding style.
Even if your venue has an in house team, lots of couple want someone there as a go between to represent them on the day. Someone who knows every last little detail about their day and will make sure that it all happens for them.
We will be the main point of contact for everyone involved with your wedding. We will ensure all or the suppliers know when and where they are going, set up all of your required important personal elements, from your sweet table and wedding favours, to putting reserved signs in the car park, as well as making sure that everything is kept to time and your guests are happy.
We like to meet with our on-the- day co-ordination couples a month before their wedding to run through all aspects of their day. This meeting can also be done over the phone for couples that live in a different location. We are here to help by using all of our experience within the industry, even knowing the little thing that may or may not work; it always pays to pick our brains if you're ever unsure about an idea you've got!
On the wedding day itself, if anyone is not where they should be at the time they are expected, we will be the ones chasing them up while you are enjoying yourselves, blissfully unaware, while we put everything back on track.
A Mulberry Weddings on-the-day co-ordinator is there for you on your day, for as long as you feel necessary to give you peace of mind. Some brides want us on site first thing in the morning until last thing at night, others are happy to have us from an hour or two before the ceremony to just after the first dance. We have a vast and varied role to play which may include lacing up the back of your dress if you’re running late or making sure that the Groomsmen are wearing their button holes correctly (this happens at most weddings!). We have fixed lights, made a quick dash to buy cake, broken out the sewing kit and even called an ambulance while our couples enjoy their day, unaware.
We often get asked to act as a Toastmaster if you have no-one within the bridal party who would like the job, and you haven’t hired someone in to fill this role.
As one of our previous couples said about having us along to co-ordinate their wedding:
“I just wanted to say the most enormous, thank you for your amazing help at our wedding.
Without doubt, the most important and valuable thing we chose to do when planning our wedding was hiring Mulberry Weddings & Events to coordinate the day. We didn't even know then how dramatic the day would turn out to be!
You ladies ensured the day ran smoothly and without a hitch, like I said on the day if there were any issues you were very good at hiding them! Whenever we had a question about anything, it had already been done. Everyone commented how professional and helpful all three of you were, unflappable and completely on it all day. It could have been a stressful day what with a few unscheduled illnesses and drama, but you ensured none of this affected anything and made it the best day of our lives!
Thank you so much for driving my dad home. He is much better now - I'm surprised he stayed as long as he did - but being driven home was a lovely way to end the proceedings.
Thanks so much again - and if anyone I know is ever looking for a similar service I won't hesitate to recommend Mulberry Weddings & Events to them!
Love from Lara (and Nick!) x"
