After a very busy summer season planning, styling and running lots of beautiful weddings and events we are going to look back at some of this year's weddings starting with the wonderful Lara & Nick's stunning wedding at the very enchanting Llanvihangel Court
Lara & Nick contacted Mulberry Weddings & Events as they were keen to use our 'on the day co-ordination' service. Lara was a very organised Bride and pretty much organised every tiny detail of their beautiful wedding. She then made the decision that when it came to the day itself, she wanted to relax and enjoy every moment without having to worry if everything was going to run in the perfect way she was hoping for. To ensure this would happen she decided to bring us on board leaving herself, Nick and their family and honored guests to have a wedding that was filled with stress free fun.
We started to take the reins and advise Lara as the wedding approached and had a handover meeting at the beginning of the week of the wedding to ensure that we were in full knowledge of what stage all of the elements and plans were, so that we could hit the ground running and make this the day they had been dreaming of.
The ceremony was to take place in the stunning Tudor Manor House followed by the drinks reception. Guests would then move to the marquee provided by County Marquees in the grounds. The sumptuous food for the day and evening was provided by the very creative Rococo caters and the beautiful floral arrangements were from Hilary's Floral Design .
On the day we arrived first thing and set about opening up some of the side panels of the marquee, took the protective covering off the marquee carpet, helped the catering team with laying up and dressing the tables and followed the very detailed instuctions Laras mum had provided for us to assemble the cheese cake,
We greeted guests, looked after the ceremony music and made sure that Lara & Nick were in the right place at the right time for registrars etc, Lara made her fabulous entrance down the stunning wooden staircase and the ceremony was underway. Laras sister played the venues grand piano as the register was signed and the photos were taken and then guests enjoyed the beautiful house as the caught up and shared memories old and new during the drinks reception.
Our team was fast into action to move the ceremony chairs to the marquee, light the candles and make sure everything was ready for the celebrations to move from the house into the marquee for hilarious speeches, exceptional food and lots of dancing. We emptied the post box contents and blew up inflatables for the evening dance floor shenanigans.
As the evening moved on we made sure the Lara & Nick guest book was circulated around so the it was filled with good wishes and advice for their future and we even drove the Brides Dad home during the evening as he had been unwell the morning of the wedding.
