Have you noticed it's starting to get just a touch chilly in the evenings and the light is fading earlier by the day? I've notice that some people are starting to light their wood burning stoves so that they can snuggle up in the evening and enjoy the warm glow.
This has made me think about the subtle changes that can be made to your venue styling to bring that cosy intimate feeling to your wedding day. But I don't wish to completely write off the fact that we do enjoy the odd spell of lovely weather the late summer and early autumn.
This is definitely a great time of year to add some warmer tones to your wedding décor and make your venue feel more cosy and opulent. Using a mass of candle light becomes so much more important so that it can dance off a rich pallet of golds, ambers and greens. And adding lots of glass and crystals will add to the effect and help refract the light around the room, giving it a wonderful glow and an intimate atmosphere.
I have put together a Pinterest board to give you some ideas of how this can be done with any décor style or venue setting.
Pop over and take a look for some inspiration and ideas.
